Are you passionate about sharing Stampin’ Up! with the world?
Are you invested in growing your Stampin’ Up! Business?
Are you prepared to commit and do the work?
If you answered yes to all three questions, then you, my friend, are ready to start a Stampin’ Up! Blog.
A blog, also known as your website, will allow you to showcase your authenticity, be found on search engines and share your opportunities. It’s also the only place on the web that is 100% yours, where you are in complete control.
As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator we are selling the same range of products as 60,000 other demonstrators. So how are you going to set yourself apart from others? You need a way to stand out and have a unique voice that is going to generate you leads, sales and help you recruit others to join you on your journey! The single best way to grow your business, is going to be with your very own blog!
The top 3 benefits of a Blog
So let’s take a look why you need a blog.
- It is an amazing way to create unique content that is all your own. You can share projects you make with the products, share your ideas and inspiration. Through writing blog posts you can share your story, with details that connect you to your audience.
- Blogs can also help you reach a bigger audience by creating fabulous content that lasts. A blog post lasts as long as you have it published and older blog posts can still reach an audience long after you’ve posted them.
- It’s also the only place online where you can make it look 100% how you want. On most other platforms you are constrained to how they structure it – think about how Facebook creates your Business page or how Instagram uses squares. Your blog can look and feel any way you want it to. It’s the one place you can really show off your brand and personality to attract your ideal customer.
Can I not just use social media?
Of course you can, but in essence you are building your business on “rented space”. If that social media channel closed or changed their way of working, your business is affected. With a blog you are in complete control (see next week’s post for more on this).
Most social media posts are fairly short and sweet – how much information can you really share in a Instagram caption? Also, you certainly can’t link your post direct to your Stampin’ Up! Store. Blog posts allow you to develop your content into long form posts, sharing all the relevant information and with direct links to your store to make it super easy for your readers to buy from you.
Social media posts are also very short lived, most will become irrelevant after a day as the algorithm speeds on by, but with a blog post it can last forever. Through using Pinterest or google searches your blog posts can attract readers each and every day. Sounds good right? But first, let’s just check you are up for the challenge
A word of warning
If you didn’t answer yes to all 3 questions at the beginning, and want a blog because “you think you need one”. Then stop! Anyone thinking I need one for sales, or I need one as my upline has one, then I want you to go back and really think if you want to start a blog.
The truth of the matter is if you are not committed to sharing for the joy of sharing, you won’t know what to say and you chances are you won’t be successful. You need to be committed …. so are you ready to dive in?
